The Void

The Void explores the experience of standing at the edge of the unknown — the moment when the familiar world falls away and a new path begins to reveal itself.

A woman in a vivid red dress appears suspended within a swirling landscape of light, movement and uncertainty. Her body seems to be carried forward by the currents surrounding her, while an ornate golden frame floats before her, revealing a luminous circular passage at its centre. A staircase extends into this opening, creating the impression of a doorway between worlds.

The contrast between the cold, misty landscape and the intense warmth of the red dress and golden light gives the work a sense of tension between hesitation and possibility. The woman reaches toward the passage rather than turning away from it, suggesting a willingness to step beyond what is known.
