The Star Goddess

The Star Goddess is an exploration of illumination, feminine consciousness and the moment of crossing from the known into the unknown.

Emerging from a field of deep darkness, the goddess is rendered almost entirely through luminous golden lines, as though her body has been drawn from light itself. A celestial halo surrounds her, while scattered points of radiance extend into the darkness around her. At her centre, light gathers and expands outward, suggesting an energy that is both awakening and becoming.

The work speaks of the threshold between who we have been and who we are capable of becoming. The goddess does not appear to arrive from somewhere outside herself; rather, she seems to reveal a light that was already present within.

For The Threshold, this work represents the first encounter with possibility — the moment when intuition becomes visible and the path ahead begins to reveal itself.
